Fun, outdoor summer activities designed to introduce various outdoor skills enhancing both mental and physical well-being. Emphasis will be on skill development, safety practices, responsibility, teamwork and self-awareness through experiential learning. Skills include, but are not limited to cooperative games, sports and outdoor experiences! Mrs. Allie is teaching the camp and it is going to be a blast! Only 10 spots available. Pioneer Sewing Camp
​Monday, June 13– June 16, 12 noon – 3 PM, $145 wincludes supplies, first grade end up. Pioneers did not have sewing machines so we
​will learn as they learned! We will be using different types of needles and threads for various types of hand sewing projects. Basic hand sewing, embroidery, crewel and cross stitch. Projects are small and we intend to create samples daily. Projects can be personalized to individual skill levels.

Introduction to Using a Sewing Machine Camp
August 8–11, 12 noon – 3 PM, $145 include supplies, first grade end up. Come learn to operate a sewing machine to open a world of creative opportunities! We will be constructing a personalized pillowcase while learning to understand the machine as we put those skills into action.

Clothing Sewing Camp
August 15 - 18, 12 noon - 3 PM, $145, first grade and up, payment of upgraded trim package costs additional. This class is for students who have experience operating a sewing machine. We will be putting those skills into action by making your own cotton top or dress. Cost of materials will vary based on fabrics and trims selected. Once registration is submitted a full list of projects will be provide in advance of class.

- Learn about the layers of the ocean, currents, marine animals, coral reefs and more through hands-on activities and crafts.

CODING/ CIRCUITS 7/4

- Learn about the basic coding principals through physical games and online challenges. This one-day camp also teaches the basics of circuits with button battery experiments and lighting a bulb with a lemon!

CHEMICAL REACTIONS 7/18

- Learn about basic chemical reactions through experiments. We’ll (safely) cause some big reactions and learn what causes those reactions. This camp will be messy- so dress accordingly!

AERODYNAMICS/ GRAVITY 8/8

- What goes up, must come down! Let’s find out why. During this camp we’ll be making and racing paper airplanes, and discovering gravity with paint filled water balloons (weather permitting). HIGHLY recommend a white shirt to take home as a souvenir of our paint adventures!

ART CLASSES ALL SUMMER LONG

PET CLASS
Mrs. Meredith will be teaching the preschool enrichment Tuesdays (PET) along with the K-PREP and getting ready for 1st grade enrichment class that will meet ONCE a week all summer long. (There is NO class the week of July 4th) It begins June 1st for students ages 4-7 and will meet every Tuesday of the summer from 11-2. Students are broken into two groups prek4 / rising K and another that has completed K. Every week they will receive ART, handwriting, phonics, beginning reading, reading, word building with phonograms, academic games, and more. THIS CLASS FILLS UP EVERY SUMMER - DO NOT DELAY!!! $150 monthly per student

CURSIVE WRITING & FINE ART
A second class will be offered on Wednesday all summer long for students Ages 6-9 who are ready to learn cursive and explore fine art. This class will also meet all summer long on Wednesday from 11-2 beginning June 2nd. (There is NO class the week of July 4th) Students will be broken up into two groups, introduction to cursive and continuing cursive. Fine arts will be explored each week and consist of acrylic on canvas, clay sculpture, textiles, recycled art, and more! THIS CLASS IS ALREADY 1/2 FULL - DO NOT DELAY REGISTERING!! $150 monthly per student
