Our Values
1. We choose to believe in the best of our community and offer grace at all times. Our commitment to positivity and professionalism extends to all members of our community, and we will lead our families, students, and staff with kindness, respect, understanding, and service. 2. At the Virginia Beach School of the Arts, we believe that every student deserves acceptance, kindness, patience, and encouragement. Our faculty and staff are committed to speaking and acting with gentleness and goodness, creating a safe and inclusive space for all students to learn, grow, and thrive.
3. Effective communication is a cornerstone of our values. We prioritize defining our words to provide clarity and maintaining open channels of communication at all times. We will listen actively and respond with composure and respect, even when opinions and beliefs differ. We believe that these values are strengthened through clear and compassionate communication.
